A new study in the journalExpert Opinion on Male Infertilityprovides further evidence that there is a growing body of evidence that clomiphene citrate is a potentially useful treatment for the treatment of male infertility. The authors reviewed published data on Clomid (Clomifene Citrate), a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) that was initially approved by the FDA in 1992 as a treatment for primary dysmenorrhea in women. In 2012, the FDA approved Clomid for its use as a first-line treatment for primary dysmenorrhea. In this study, they used the same data collection method and same-sex partners to conduct a more detailed analysis of the data. They found that 50 percent of couples with male infertility had a history of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and a history of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS/OS).
